Q. What star is your hotel facilities?
A. We are not a star hotel, we are nice, clean and friendly guest house.
Q. Do you have massage/spa on site?
A. We don't have a spa on site, but could help you book one in the town.
Q. Is there a swimming pool for use?
A. We don't have a pool on site but we could help you book your day at a pool if you wish.
Q. What time is your check-in/out?
A. Check-out is at 10:00am and Check-in is at 11:00pm but we will let you check-in early if the room is available. However, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and spend your time at our cafe whilst waiting.
Q. Is there a time for entrance in the night.
A. We are normally open 24 hrs but if you are staying with us and going out in the evening, we request you to come before 10 pm so we don't disturb other guests.
Q. What time does the restaurant open and close?
A. Restaurant opens at 7.00 am and closes at midnight.
Q. Do I get to have a shower on my camel safari tour?
A. There is no facilities for shower on a camel safari. However if you are booking a tent for your stay you get to shower when you reach to your tent.
Q. Is there a hospital near by?
A. Jaisalmer has a government hospital and also a private hospital. Even though the medical services are not so expensive in India, it is better to have travel insurance for any health issue.
Q. Are there any medicines that are needed for malaria or vaccinations?
A. Malaria is not really prevalent in Jaisalmer. We suggest using mosquito repellent. Please check with your countries’ health regulations for any vaccinations that are required.
Q. Are there any convenience shops nearby?
A. We are walking distance from the street that has all of your practical items and toiletries if you happen to forget any.
Q. Do you have hot water in the rooms?
A. We have hot water in all bathrooms.
Q. Do you provide WiFi ?
A. We offer free WIFI services in all our rooms and cafe. There is also a computer for guests to use with internet at a very minimum cost.
Q. Do you provide towels?
A. We provide towels for bathing.
Q. Do you provide toilet paper?
A. We do not offer toilet paper as we wish to be as eco friendly as possible and provide a water spray next to the loo to use. If you wish to use toilet paper it can be purchased at the local convenience store.
Q. Do you provide laundry services?
A. We do not have laundry services on site and ask you not to do laundry in the rooms. You could give your laundry locally that is a 24 to 48 hrs services at a very reasonable price.
Q. Is there an ATM or money exchange around?
A. There are many places of exchange in city, we could also call one in the hotel for your services and there are ATM in couple of minutes walking distance from hotel.
Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Unfortunately we do not have services to support credit cards at this moment.
Q. Do I need a visa to travel to India?
A. Most countries require visa entry to India (tourist visa). We also need a valid passport to stay at hotel.
Q. Do I need insurance?
A. It is always recommended when travelling anywhere to carry traveller's insurance.
Q. Do you provide room service for food ?
A. We provide food and drinks only in our roof top cafe.
Q. Is there intercom services ?
A. We don't have intercom services in the rooms.
Q. Can I smoke in my rooms ?
A. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms, but there is open smoking zone in our roof top cafe.
Q. Are there frequent power cuts in Jaisalmer?
A. Power cuts are common in India, however during season time they are not frequent and if it occurs, then we have a basic electric backup for your light and fan in all the rooms.
